Hand Embroidery

This week I have been aiming to experiment more with my sampling, so I have been using machine threads that give a more delicate line, while also combining hand & machine embroidery. What I have learnt from using the two techniques is that it adds more detail to my samples with the controlled lines; however the I find it harder to add shape with machine and tend to keep it very linear within my work.
