Lisa Milroy

Ive always enjoyed Lisa Milroy's work and decided to refer back to some of her paintings within Unit X; I was always inspired by the composition she creates in her work. I love these paintings due to the vibrant colour composed through such simple shapes. These paintings have such a modern feel and are really spacious due to the linear qualities. The colour scheme in Lisa's work really relates to my yarn choices; her work encourages me to continue to work in a simplistic style and to not over complicate my samples by combining too much shape/yarn/trapping elements.
