Within my drawings I am beginning to pay attention to shape, and the contrast between negative space and blocks/lines of colour. In order to gain drawing inspiration I have been looking at artist Kitty Sabatier.
Kitty's style of work is simplistic yet combines different elements such as numerous tones, sharp lines and has a continuous flow throughout her pieces. In tutorials I was encouraged to add colour into my sketchbook work, starting to move away from the greyscale tones. I will be looking back at NASA imagery and gaining a colour palette from this area of research.
